Barcelona raised its tally to 17 points, advanced to eighth place, and Levante stuck at 11 points, in eighteenth place.
Barcelona threatened the visitors' goal in more than one attempt in the first half of the match, especially the attempts of Jordi Alba and Antoine Griezmann, which were very dangerous.
On the other hand, Levante posed some danger to the Catalan team's goal during the match that ended in a 0-0 draw.
In the second half, Barca tried to pressure more to reach the victory goal, and coach Ronald Koeman pushed the young pair, Pedri, and Francesco Trinkau.
The precious goal of victory came in the 76th minute, by the Argentine star Lionel Messi, in a beautiful way, after a pass from Frankie de Jong.
