The Board of Directors of the Premier League Football League has expressed confidence in the continuation of its matches for this season, despite the high number of people infected with Coronavirus in the league clubs in particular and in the country in general.
The Premier League said in its official statement: "With the decrease in the number of positive tests in most clubs, the Premier League remains fully confident in the protocols of Covid 19, and the ability to continue playing our matches as scheduled."
He added: "The Premier League wishes those with Covid-19 a safe and speedy recovery and will re-arrange the postponed match between Tottenham Hotspur and Fulham at the appropriate time."
