Officially, the twins, Bandar, retire at the end of the season

German club Bayer Leverkusen announced today, Monday, that twins Lars and Zven Bender, 31, will retire at the end of the current season.

According to the club, the two players will not renew their contracts, which expire at the end of the season, and their journey to play football will end.

Lars, who plays in midfield and defensive line, joined Leverkusen in the summer of 2009, from 1860 Munich.

As for Zven, who also plays in midfield and defense, he joined Leverkusen in the summer of 2017, coming from Borussia Dortmund, for which he played for 8 years.
