The English Football League announced today, Tuesday, that it has recorded 18 positive cases of Corona virus, the highest number during the week this season in the last round of tests.
1,479 players and crew members were examined between December 21 and 27. Since the start of the new season, 131 positive cases have appeared in the competition during 17 rounds of Corona examinations.
The Association did not reveal the names of the injured or their clubs, but indicated that they isolated themselves for ten days.
Yesterday, the Manchester City and Everton Premier League match was postponed, due to several virus infections in the City team.
It is worth noting that Britain is currently witnessing the most difficult period, in terms of the spread of the virus, as large numbers are recorded daily.
