Officially, Real Madrid is the Century Club of Globe Soccer

Real Madrid won the Best Club of the Century (2001-2020) award, from Globe Soccer, at the ceremony held today, in Dubai.

Real Madrid was competing for this award with Egyptian club Al-Ahly, Barcelona, Spain, and Bayern Munich, Germany.

"Impressive numbers and record victories, Real Madrid won the 2001-2020 Century title with the Globe Soccer Awards," wrote the official account of Globe Soccer on the social networking site Twitter.

It is noteworthy that Real Madrid holds the record for the number of Champions League titles (13), as well as the record in the Spanish League (34 titles).
