Juventus coach Andrea Pirlo spoke to the press after yesterday's 4-0 victory over Parma in the thirteenth round of the Italian League.
Pirlo said: "Ronaldo was angry with himself after he wasted a penalty kick against Atlanta, but luckily he didn't have much time to beat it and he immediately got the opportunity to show how much he loved scoring goals."
He added, "We were not happy with Wednesday's result (1-1 draw against Atlanta), but the performance was good. Yesterday against Param we wanted to regain the points that we lost against Atalanta and I think we achieved them."
He continued: "We needed to win yesterday, and both our strikers, Cristiano and Alvaro, needed to return to scoring. We needed to work as a group, and Aaron Ramsay gave a very good match."
"We are slowly achieving what we want, not just me, but the players as well. I like high pressure when the opponent has possession of the ball, we can recover it quickly and this allows us to control the game," he added.
He added, "We now realize that we are on the right path, and that we will have this position in every match, whether we are against Parma or Barcelona, we must press high and be aggressive and get the ball back so that we can control the match."
And he concluded: "Morata was disappointed after the match Wednesday and the criticism he received, but I told him that he works hard for the team and that something like this can happen, as long as he moves and works hard, the goals will come on their own."
