Barcelona stumbled again in the Spanish League, where it settled with a draw with its guest Eibar, in the 16th round match, which was held at Camp Nou, with a score of "1-1".
Barcelona raised its score to 25 points, and remained sixth in the ranking, and Ibar raised its score to 16 points, and advanced to the fourteenth place.
The referee awarded a penalty kick for Barcelona, and the Danish striker Martin Braithwaite advanced it, but he recklessly missed it in the 7th minute, when he shot it near the right post of the goal.
At the 24th minute, Braithwaite managed to score the visitors' net, after a cross from Junior Verbo, but the goal was canceled after returning to video technology, as the player was a few centimeters offside.
In the 33rd minute, Braithwaite tried another ball, but was unsuccessful as well, while Eibar tried with a powerful shot from Kiki Garcia in the 35th minute, which was blocked by goalkeeper Ter Stegen.
Eibar tried to pressure in the last minutes to snatch a goal before the end of the first half, but this did not happen, and the half ended with the two teams drawn without goals.
With the start of the second half, Osman Dembele entered the place of Sergio Diest, and the French star almost opened the scoring for Barça in the 48th minute with a great shot that passed by the goal.
Dembele then wasted another ball in the 56th minute, where he was alone with the goalkeeper, but the latter saved his goal, and a minute later Ronald Araujo committed a fatal mistake, to snatch Kiki Garcia the ball and take off, then finish it in the net.
But the Catalan team managed to equalize, after a great attack that started from the right side with many distinct moves, to reach Dembele on the second post, to put it in the net in the 66th minute.
Barcelona had several opportunities to advance, but Braithwaite, Pedri, Coutinho, Menguisa and Trinkau did not succeed in their attempts, and the confrontation ended with a 1-1 draw.
